Joining The Club

 

Joining the Whitsunday Coast 4x4 Club is easy and provides you with a great opportunity to have fun with wide range of people who share the same passion for four wheel driving, camping and the outdoors in general.

Members come from all walks of life and not all have a high level of four wheel drive experience. Many members just enjoy the group activities and touring days, whist others seek the challenge and adrenalin of the tougher tracks. 

​

Whether you are new to four wheel driving or have experience you can rest assured that all members of the club are happy to help and share their knowledge and offer their support.

Member Meetings

​

The club currently holds monthly General Meetings to discuss official club business and upcoming trips. You can find details of dates, times and location on the club's Facebook Event page.

​

Guests are always welcome to come along to our meetings to obtain more information or simply meet fellow four wheel drive enthusiasts.

​

The club holds their Annual General Meeting in June each year.

Membership Eligibility

 

Before applying for membership, we encourage you to come on a trip with the club as a guest in order to get to know the club and so the club can get to know you.

​

The club allows guests to come on one trip before being required to apply for membership. You will be required to become a member of the club if you wish to come on future trips.

Fees

​

Annual membership renewals are due on the 1st January each year.

 

The current membership fees are:

 

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP - $70 PER PERSON

Any individual who is 17+ years old; and driving their own vehicle.

​

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP - $60 PER PERSON

Individuals who are family/spouse; and are travelling in the same vehicle.

 

CHILDREN - $0

Any passenger under 18 years old who is not driving the vehicle.

​

Pro-rata is available for new membership applications made after 30th June each year.

 

Club membership fees include membership to 4WD Queensland and Public Liability Insurance.

​

Members also have the privilege to attend ‘member only events’ such as National Parks special access tracks and big trips.
